Joinery made in our own workshop, installed by our own team

Joinery is the part of a fit out that most separates a considered interior from a furnished one, and it is the part most contractors subcontract. We do not. Wardrobes, walk-in closets, kitchen cabinets, vanity units, internal doors, reception counters and feature pieces are made in our Mussafah workshop and installed by the same team, which means the person who measured your wall is the person responsible when the doors are hung.

For Dubai clients this matters more than it sounds: joinery arrives finished, site time is limited to installation, and any adjustment is made by us rather than negotiated between a fit out contractor and a workshop that has never seen the site.

Joinery works we take on

Residential joinery is mostly bedroom wardrobes and walk-in closets, kitchens, bathroom vanities, TV and media walls, and internal doors with frames. Commercial joinery is reception counters, storage walls, pantry units, and display and shelving for retail. We also make curved and one-off pieces to a designer's drawings.

Materials and finishes

Most work is in MDF or plywood carcasses with laminate, PU paint or natural veneer faces; solid timber where the design calls for it; and moisture-resistant boards in kitchens and bathrooms. Hardware is specified for the UAE climate and for daily use: soft-close hinges and runners, aluminium profiles where doors are large, and finishes that tolerate humidity. We bring samples to the site visit so you choose from the real thing rather than a catalogue.

How a joinery project runs

A site survey with measurements and photographs, then drawings and a materials list with a fixed estimate. Once approved, production runs in the workshop while any preparatory works (electrical points for a media wall, plumbing for a vanity) are done on site. Installation is scheduled as a block of days, and finishing details are checked with you at handover. Lead times depend on the scope and finish and are agreed at the estimate stage.

What decides joinery cost

Joinery is priced per piece from drawings, not per square foot, and the estimate is fixed once the design is agreed. The main variables are:

• Size and number of units, and the height of wardrobes and storage walls
• Carcass and face material: laminate, PU paint, veneer or solid timber
• Hardware grade: hinges, runners, lift-up mechanisms, integrated lighting
• Complexity: curved fronts, fluted panels, integrated handles, mixed materials
• Site works needed before installation: electrical, plumbing, wall preparation
• Location and access, including lift booking in apartment towers
